Founded in 2007, Simple Asset Management (Simple) began by providing critical portfolio oversight to real estate investors. Over the years, we’ve refined our focus to serve the evolving needs of Owners and Developers in the affordable housing industry.
With over 15 years of experience, we bring deep expertise in asset management, compliance, property management, program administration, policy development, and project management. As a proud women- and minority-owned business, we are committed to advancing equitable, high-quality housing outcomes.

Jill Cromartie

Jill brings a wealth of experience to the real estate and housing industries, with deep expertise across the full real estate lifecycle—including acquisition, due diligence, asset management, and dispositions. She has strong technical knowledge of government funding programs such as LIHTC, HOME, and NHTF, and offers specialized consulting services in asset management and LIHTC development.
Jill is HCCP certified and actively contributes to the industry through her roles on the HCCP Board of Governors and the national advisory panel for the Women’s Affordable Housing Network.
Julia Cihla

With real estate licenses in both Georgia and Tennessee, Julia has combined a strong background in corporate operations with a hands-on passion for real estate and home renovation. Her journey in real estate includes working alongside Jill for a group of Canadian investors, managing a diverse portfolio of single and multi-family properties throughout metro Atlanta. Julia has also personally taken on the rewarding challenge of restoring “ugly duckling” homes—breathing new life into overlooked properties, which has become a true passion of hers.
Prior to diving into real estate full-time, Julia built a solid career in the corporate world, holding key roles at companies like Caterpillar Tractor Co., AT&T Headquarters, RockTenn Paperboard, and Lucent Technologies. Her responsibilities spanned asset and office management, software training, administrative support, and financial reconciliation, giving her a strong foundation in organization, communication, and problem-solving.
Whether managing investments or transforming homes, Julia brings dedication, experience, and a love for making things better than she found them.

With nearly three decades in real estate, Dana Elliott has successfully guided hundreds of clients through buying and selling homes. A strong negotiator with a deep knowledge of the market, Dana is known for securing the best outcomes for her clients. Her commitment to service and integrity has earned her a reputation for excellence and trust. A proud mother of two and grandmother of two, she brings a warm, personal touch to every client relationship—treating each home as if it were her own.

With over 15 years of experience in multi-family housing specializing in affordable housing and compliance, Stephanie brings a deep understanding of property operations and regulatory standards. As a Consultant with Simple Asset Management, she partners with clients to navigate the complexities of affordable housing with precision and confidence. A former paralegal, she is known for her exceptional attention to detail and thorough approach to compliance. She holds both the NPCC and Certified Credit Compliance Professional certifications, underscoring her commitment to excellence in the industry.
A Georgia native, she enjoys traveling between baseball and football fields and the beach with her husband, son, daughter and new son-in-law.
